I have Uverse and the internet is done on 7/15/08 and went fantastic. The installer was young, but top notch. He took one look at how the cable line that runs from the TV in the living room to bedroom, modem and router, then said, “You do not want things like that. I’m gonna run cat5 all new.” He crawled into our crawl space under the building and two lines run directly to the bedroom, then to the TV in our living room. He replaces the space in the cable jack wall plate with a single Cat5. He was in the bedroom that used two types of floor jack mount box. both look very professional. Dude even wear booties in the house. Never had to do that Comcast. Smiley
Overall I am pretty happy. HD so far has looked great, and sometimes just ok. Depending on the channel and program. Comcast appears to be more consistent. The “on demand” seems pretty low quality. remind me when I will record in low quality on a TiVo series back in 2000. Some other programs that better but it’s all over … yeah pretty yucky. I get a number pretty good and am pretty close to the VRAD. So this course should have at ATT now with this system.
I love speed interface, fast channel changes, guidelines and Pip used. The entire presentation is better then Comcast. Internet very quickly

9 / 17 is my date, the installer called in exactly 8:00 (wow, talk about prompt). He showed up about 8:15 and that gave me the perfect opportunity to build a Wink.
It was here, and I showed him the outside I messed up the phone drop draped in front of my page. I think I may have to bribe someone with a beer / cash to replace the drop and put it to the other side of the house should be. However, the line showed up within about 45 minutes and 30 minutes after the drop has been rerouted, and I have DMARC box, and that it is a good and tidy, I could not have done better himself. Yea I know long story, boiled until the basement ceiling where the power came to the house was drywalled, but the first thing I do when I buy the house tore down the drywall ceiling in the basement. So we are able to install properly.
Review from Happy Customer :
I originally ordered UVERSE in mid February when the study is available in the area. THe day before the installation of the ATT tech came to check the line speed, etc., and said there may be a problem. He returned the next day, and the installation technology is also here. I have to be replaced outside the box, I line to the main line was replaced, and the connection to the main line is replaced (which required a separate body with a bulldozer type of machine to excavate the hole). THe problem still not resolved, so Rodney (original tech) was extended to replace the neighbors connection, and then the connection to the main path. During several days, a number of holes popped in the environment where Rodney has been working to improve the line for installation.
This includes working in the main ATT. Several weeks later, the problem is thought to be, but alas, no. Finally, a few weeks later the problem will be found in the location of main office or ATT connection. Rodney, I can not say enough about the positive things, basically rewired in the environment of (seemingly) for installation. After about 1.5 years, I have my U-verse installed last Monday. 2 ATT techs perform the installation (1 in training) is beautiful. He even gave me his cell number to call him if I have any problems, who immediately used the next day with some questions about the internet service. If there are indications of the service techs are the level of the ATT, it will become a beautiful

The installer called to confirm his appointment this morning and arrived on time. He was very friendly and competent and have the service up and running quickly. I have to say U-verse picture quality is exceptional, even when viewing SD programming. So far I love U-verse and I really enjoyed the call and the local cable company that tells them to disconnect the analog overpriced junk.
Well, install was scheduled for this morning between 8-10. At 9:15 start but is concerned as soon as get the call that the installer was en route. 10 minutes later Matt and Mark at the door. ID’d themselves and go to work. DishNet I’ve had for years so that the cable ran smoothly as part of the whole installation. It took about 4.5 hours, but that happened because one of the guys that are still new, and training. No matter to me, they are polite and get the job finished, leave the site clean (take all the boxes, packaging, etc. ..), and I am a techno-geek, and did not mind discussing my various questions. I’ve been up only a few hours, but until now I have NO problem and does not expect. Kudos to ATT and U-verse!
I officially connected. The install went great (~ 30min outside and in the 1-2h). Both ATT employees are very knowledgable / helpful. Prem tech did the job very well. He made me believe peripherals that provide a lot of work and good info about this service. I understand that I connected to the same vrad as NYrep1. I went in the 1200-1500 ft nearest branch. Prem technology indicated that I get 60 Mbps to coax my wall-plate. No need for Cat5 or channel specific. I have 25 Mbps capacity profile with many remaining.
I just got it installed on the Forest Crossing Drive on Saturday.
Man. I’ve been battling with the reps at AT & T calls to get them on the same page with me. I got a reminder in the mail saying “you will install on the 26th …” which is a Monday in January. But I would like to Saturday 31. That. I called them every opportunity I have only to verify. Each time they will say “well we have to wait for you down … no 26 .. 31. The. Yeah we for you 31.”

I am in Cedar Park (NW of Austin) and have AT & T folks here for 2 hours … phone, internet and tv setup installed and out the door … the extraordinary fast.
I at this time I go to wifi settings in the system and everything in the house we act like what happens ….
running flawlessly.
I’m very happy with the portion of HD … TW has been pixelated screen quickly flashes (like strobe lights in the channel Palladia HD) but the picture is much better on AT & T.
Hope that helps!

I was supposed to get my service installed on 23 January, but I lose my info ATT. Then it should be installed on January 30 but does not have a show. Finally, it is installed on 7 February.
During this my very happy and impressed with the service. I’m not sure if it’s U-Verse as it has many products or as if Dish sucked so bad.
But I’m happy that I get this water to clean all the coax from my home, take that ugly dish on the roof and (do not tell Charter) cut the coax that runs from pole to my home page up
